I agree with buzsaw.
A close investigation of the Exodus Video(s) would tell you a great deal about creationists and their take on evidence and accuracy.
..........as well as the paranoia of the the mainstream secularist science establishment of investigating anything suggesting the existence of a supernatural higher intelligence in the universe.

Gravity is God's glue that holds his universe together.

But before you beleive Buzsaw on the issue of the videos you should reflect on the fact that:
The video promotes the ideas of Ron Wyatt, who has made numerous claims of dramatic discoveries which have never been fully verified. Some of them are sufficiently implausible that there is good reason to dismiss them as outright hoazes.
The evidence supposedly covered in these videis has also been discussed here and that which has been revealed is wholly inadequate. Also in these discussions we have seen clear examples of the misues and mishandling of evidence by people involved with or supporting the videos.
Given this background claims of "paranoia" amongst scientists mst be regarded with the utmost suspicion. THe videos cannot be regarded as an trustworthy source and I invite anyone who disagrees to discuss the actual evidence rather than relying on what the videos actually say.

Buz, I don't think I'm a member of any establishments other than my own, but if you want someone to make a call as to who is paranoid on the issue, scientists or creationists, based on the Exodus videos, that's okay by me.
BTW, just for the record, I don't think whether or not Wyatt actually found a few chariot wheels on the bottom of the Red Sea would have any bearing on the historicity of Exodus or the existence of God.
Meanwhile, the second video was made largely to expunge any link with Wyatt, who has been denounced by many conservative Christians, both scholars and laypersons in archeology, as a fraud; there is no other substantive difference between the two videos.
Wyatt also claimed, among other things, to have found the Ark of the Covenant, at which time angels promised him a role in the Great Events to come. So far, Wyatt has passed away, and we have yet to see the Ark or the Great Events. Not to beat a dead horse, but if I were you, I wouldn't put the egg money on that particular nag.

Hi Ellen,
I just noticed that the WSJ had an article a couple weeks ago that mentioned science fairs and creationism:
Unfortunately, that link only brings you to the WSJ search page, they've got things set up so you can't provide a direct link to an article. You can search for it at WSJ, but I think you'll need a subscription to read it.
Good luck with your article! Hope you'll let us know when/where it appears.

It appeared here.
That was the article
Maybe the above link will work better.
All in all it looks like there really was very little material related to Creationism. Only one example was mentioned that I remember and it had to do with dripping water on rocks to show wear that relates to a young earth. I'd like to see that one and since the child is only eight years old, would love to sit and explain why her experiment was so wrong.
