You're right, people are too obtuse to appreciate the point of the parody.

I doubt that anyone didn't see your point. You disagree that your belief in God can be offhandedly dismissed and would like others to see that their own belief systems can be just as easily dismissed. The thing is: it wasn't funny and it added nothing to the debate besides a "nuh uhhh."
