Despite my initial cynicism I loved it... Ditto. I was totally unready for the level of spectacle and thought it was breathtaking and moving. Mike Oldfield, Dizzee Rascal, and Arctic Monkeys. Genius

You just missed the opening ceremony, which was no Beijing! Damn right - London was 100x more entertaining

the Beijing ceremony was to the London ceremony what Transformers was to Robocop  I can't disagree with that. Transformers: a tale told by that idiot, Michael Bay, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing... vs Robocop: a work by that sometimes genius, Paul Verhoeven - gritty, thrilling, shocking, and moving.
