Your reasoning would be equivalent to telling a plumber that he doesn't what he is doing because somebody was mean to the electrician.

Mean to the purported electrician who had no qualifications, but a firm belief that everything would work fine in your house, if he replaced the wiring with string ;-)
Could there be any greater conceit, than for someone to believe that the universe has to be simple enough for them to be able to understand it ?
