Before I begin, may I ask that replies be limited to one per post, in order to make this discussion managable? I don't have too much time.
Anyway, I have a question. It has to do with the very first instant of the Big Bang. So we have a universe that is infinately small, with all the matter that ever existed in that small space, right? My question is, what caused the matter shoot apart to expand space? Should it not have formed a super masive black hole and collapse the universe before it began? Or does matter repel other matter when the presure reach a certain point? Basically, what was the driving force behind the big bang?
