I currently work for IGT, International Game Technology, through a temp agency. I disassemble slot machines on a 7-10 person assembly line. Not glamorous, by any means, but it pays the bills.
I am a student,(well, was a student), and only 1 or 2 classes from getting my A.A. Well, I hope my classes that I took in California transfer over to the Nevada curriculum. If all goes well, then I need only 1 or 2 classes.
I moved from southern California to Las Vegas on a whim. I plan on attaining my A.A. from the College of Southern Nevada, but tuition is a bit expensive: around $2300 for 6 or more units. I have a desire to research some grants to pay for this, get my A.A. and transfer to a 4-year school, possibly UNLV.
I'm still undecided on my major. I would like either a major in one of the sciences, such as anthropology or ecology, or possibly in english. I enjoy writing and reading.
Oh, and to end this tirade, my background brings practically nothing to the debates. I simply enjoy and learn a great deal from the topics and discussion here at EVC.
