Not so, when she gives the reason for the vote as effort, which indeed was a valid and believable reason, for Syamsu does contribute substantial effort to the forums which involves work, thought and time. It takes a number of unique posters to build up an interesting and informative forum. Syamsu likely took her seriously. He, after all has emotions and feelings, as we all do and was likely encouraged and pleased to see his name on the list. I just think we should have more respect and regard for other forum members than this, especially when it comes to such an event as poster of the year.

You know Buz dear, I'm inclined to agree with you here. It is all too easy to forget that there is a person on the other side of the debates. There is a big difference in debating with someone and getting frustrated and testy, and going out of our way to make joking and mean spirited comments about someone outside of the actual debate.

The majority of us will likely never get nominated, Sidelined, nor need we, but to get nominated with citation of effort and then be insulted by the nominator, not nice.

Okay, this sounds complicated and you seem to know more than me about these voting system. I shall leave the admin to decide but this topic will end on the last day of September (admin willing). I will make a final "Standings" and this topic shall be a practice voting topic. This may not go down well with people who have voted so far; however, this topic will remain important as it gives us a chance to think about my suggested categories and also --> You can very well still vote for the people you did in this topic, in the OFFICIAL one.SO, I suggest and admin starts the OFFICIAL POSTER OF THE YEAR TOPIC, after discussion amongst themselves, and I will end my efforts in this topic with that final unofficial Poster of the year "standings list".(Please shut down this topic Admin, when I give the final standings on the 30th) I feel this is best Minnemoose as I am not experienced with politics but this thread was good practice for your official one. Hey, I thought this was going to stay open to the end of the year. I didn't actually get around to voting.
