I agree that it is a reasonable premise. I have not read Moller's book, but I have read some pretty good arguments that the literature regarding Abraham's Ur was actually referring to Urfa; a city not far from Haran.
​
At the very least, I (for one) would be very much interested in following any discussion (pro or con) on the matter.
