Not one post but a series which are not yet finished.
He and Phat are discussing language. The exchange starts here:

I think this step by step, patient working through an issue is an excellent example of how to proceed. Since Phat is, himself, a pretty logical sort of person this has some chance of succeeding in making the point. But more especially with those who are very different from Phat and unable to follow the smallest steps of logic this is an approach that I think we could all learn from. In the worst case it at least makes clear where someone is going off on a crazy tangent.
