Ned for a quick exercise in how science works
Name: NosyNed
Forum: Social Issues in Creation/Evolution
Thread: Philosophical Implications of Darwinism, post #20
I generally don't do POTMs since there are many good posts, but this one by Ned caught my attention and might be useful for others, when the question of science's rough handling of ID comes up. He uses two reallife examples of recent scientific investigations to show the hard work and in one case PAIN AND EMBARASSMENT, that scientists go through in trying to do their job in a field that is unforgiving and uncompromising.
It sort of raises the unique question of if ID theorists aren't doing science because they don't have the fortitude, endurance, and guts it takes to do real modern science. After all, why do they think they have it so bad? That's an approach I haven't thought of taking.
Given that he didn't finish his last sentence in the post, it has a great nailbiter suspense, or Madlib funny, ending.
