Sorry, but I have to know. I hate wearing the same costume as everybody else.
How do you plan to dress for the EvC Halloween Party?
I hope no one else is planning to go as a super genome...

I was thinking at first of going as a Paluxy dinosaur track.
But I don't know. Something about that seems so depressing...

Re: My strategy
I'll don my ID disguise. Nobody is going to figure out that I'm really a creationist. And if they try to slam the door in my face, I'll deploy... THE WEDGE!
Great idea, Somni!
Last year I went as a bacterial flagellum. People were impressed because they think those outfits are hard to put together. They've been told you have to make all the parts at the same time.
(You don't, really.)

kuresu:
could it be that the track is a depression in the ground?
Good point.
Instead of a dinosaur track, it would be better to go as one of those human footprints Carl Baugh trots out.
No depression involved.

Why not just dress up and go as Dr. Dino?
Counterproductive. People laugh themselves to death before giving you any candy.

Re: Dress the avatars
Damn. I can't get the super genome costume.
No one knows what the thing looks like!
Guess I'll just have to go as a skeleton again this year...

Maybe you could just try a Francis Crick mask and a cape?

Re: Dress the avatars
Does that mean that you have a Francis Crick mask just laying around the house? That's a little scary, man.
Doesn't everybody?
Speaking of scary, subbie, what's your costume this year?
Going as the Tampa Bay Devil Rays?

Re: Dress the avatars
Actually, I have a Twins uniform that I made in 1987 after we beat the Cardinals. I wore it to a law school costume party. In St. Louis.
Good one. A winning fashion statement, and you get the punch bowl all to yourself!

Micro sizes
kuresu:
No one would know you were actually a fraud, seeing as how you have this way of authenticity about you.
Hey, I'm an original. My fossil feathers were carved by Rodin himself.
(but then, I'm not sure if a archeopterix can fit into a microraptor costume and look good in it)
Yeah, those outfits do make your tail feathers look big.
