So your point is that regardless of the outcome of the election, Bush still has two more months No only that those two months is a window that Israel has to nuke Iran when a new president is elected and unable to be consulted with Iran concerned and ready. With Russia siding with Iran and with available stuff to make dirty bombs and possible nucleur bombs in terrorist hands due Korea, Pakistan, etc... P.S. If it all breaks out before the election is conceeded George could remain in office if Iran takes us out. I was worried about this when Clinton was in office (remember how close the election with Gore actually was) and empathized with Jerry Falwell who said something like a hurricane would not of prevented him from seeing George sworn in after the Clintons survived his being impeached by congress due the senate overriding congress however did lose his law license for lying under oath. I'm not worried for some reason if George has to remain in office due an act of war demanding he stay on as commander an chief if the election could not be declared within the next two months. ========================================================== The Iranian Air force also aimed at deploying more than 100 warplanes for the exercise, matching the number Israel used in its maneuver four months ago. Tehran timed this large-scale drill for just three weeks before the US presidential election on Nov. 4, in response to speculation rife in the West that Israel may use the window between the US election and the swearing-in of the new president in January for an attack on Iran’s nuclear installations. The Iranians aimed to show they have a first and second strike capability - not just with ballistic missiles but also by aerial attack. — - DEBKAfile Ukraine and Kazakhstan also have nuclear power plants the byproducts of which cannot be used to make a nuclear bomb but might tempt terrorists trying to make a “dirty bomb””a regular explosive laced with lower-grade radioactive material. Well, I wouldn't vote for Palin for president, that is for sure.
I am not fond of Clinton, but she would make a much better president than McCain. He has not shown good judgment for about 7 years.

Can't say that I'm surprised to see that your understanding of basic U.S. civics is as bad as your understanding of, well, just about everything else. Were only days from the election yet those dealing with counter terrorism are still worried about the election. Why? I thought Obama was their boy yet the counter terrorist folk say they have alarming intelligence that might postpone the elections. P.S. I think its Iran worried about Israel taking them out so everyones on notice, etc...I should get back into prophecy not sure when damascus is going to become a burning heap but these two months are a window of opportunity that the west believes Israel might take yet its quite interesting how all the nations of the world are not siding with Israel against Iran. ================================================================= American counter-terror officials have “alarming” intelligence, writes Michael Isikoff, “about a possible al Qaeda strike inside the United States this fall . .” Government officials are anticipating an attack that may force the postponement of the November presidential elections. http://www.financialsense.com/...pastanalysis/2004/0714.html

I think the people that need help are the people that are going to vote for Obama. I hear liberalism is a mental disease kinda like those folk in Hitlers day that listened to Chamberlain, etc....
P.S. I'll be ok after the election just hard to deal with those democrats that are taking our country down like all those that fought George W. Bush at every corner about drilling for oil yet now say they are for drilling oil. Its these snakes in the sand that are destroying our country, yet blaming George for the economy when he was for drilling long before the economy snapped. Yep snakes that talk not straight shooters like George Bush or McCain/Palin but forked tongued is what a liberal is too me. Obama is about taxes and thats the last thing we need in a struggling economy, etc...However Israel is about to snap and it might postpone the election though we only have a couple days until the election. George Bush remaining in office is another possiblity if we are nuked by Iranian terrorists etc... which is a better than Obama taking office having a mental disease like a Chamberlain. quote: That'd be unconstitutional. Now, let's not play dumb and bring up things like a hurricane tearing through a city to stop an election. We're talking about postponing elections across the nation. We never postponed elections in a time of war previously. Why on earth would they be postponed now? Not to mention that the official policy of the Bush administration is to hold the elections, as this was bandied about the last time we had a presidential election:
U.S. officials have discussed the idea of postponing Election Day in the event of a terrorist attack on or about that day, a Homeland Security Department spokesman said Sunday. ... Bush's national security adviser Condoleezza Rice tried to put an end to the controversy Monday evening. "We've had elections in this country when we were at war, even when we were in civil war, and we should have the elections on time. That's the view of the president. That's the view of the administration," she said. "No one is thinking of postponing the elections." -- Officials discuss how to delay Election Day, CNN, July 12, 2004 While the New York elections that were to be held on September 11, 2001 were postponed because of the attacks, that is only because the election officials of New York have that power. Nobody has that power at the federal level. There is no way to postpone a federal election. And if the election gets held, then it is also unconstitutional for Bush to remain. The Twenty-second Amendment still holds: Nobody can hold the office for more than two terms. It doesn't matter if Charlotte, North Carolina gets nuked on January 19. The old president steps down and the new one is sworn in on January 20. Since there is no problem with swearing in a new president upon the death of the old (it can be done on a plane), why on earth would any Rrhain Thank you for your submission to Science. Nobody has that power at the federal level. There is no way to postpone a federal election. How about a nucleur pulse that congress fears over the middle of america taking out all cars and communications. If the people can not vote how could you have an election thus George would remain president. P.S. Is not this why were so concerned about Iran terrorists that blow themselves up having missle and nucleur capabilities. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Congress examines EMP threat: Iran believed to test missiles for attack on U.S.World Net Daily ^ | July 7, 2008 Posted on Tuesday, July 08, 2008 8:26:41 PM by 2ndDivisionVet More than four years after a stunning report about America's vulnerability to a nuclear electromagnetic pulse attack was released to Congress, the House Armed Services Committee will hear testimony from the scientist who issued the warning and who believes Iran is pursuing such an option Congress examines EMP threat: Iran believed to test missiles for attack on U.S.

..johnfolton responds to me:
quote: Doesn't matter. What part of "Nobody has that power at the federal level" are you having difficulty with? What part of "There is no way to postpone a federal election" is causing you trouble? We held elections during the Civil War when cities were under siege by enemy troops. Are you saying the current citizenry are unable to do the same?
quote: Huh? What do you mean "if the people cannot vote"? You're making it sound as if it were possible to prevent every single person across the entire country from voting. That's physically impossible. Again, during the Civil War, we held elections. Cities were under siege by enemy troops and still we managed to hold elections. And by the by: People have been voting for at least a week in many precincts. Even if nobody else voted between now and the end of the day on November 4, we'd still have the results of an election.
quote: Incorrect. The Twenty-second Amendment still stands. George Bush is inelligible to hold the office starting January 20, 2009. We have a process for succession should we get to January 20 and not have a President: The Twentieth Amendment:
3. If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President. If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified. [emphasis added] So let's run through a couple cases, shall we? 1) The election takes place but we find out the winner wasn't really qualified (say, for example, that McCain wins and we find that his birth in Panama really did make him foreign-born and not a natural-born citizen, thus violating Article II, Section 1 regarding the qualifications for President). Well, that falls under Section 3 of the Twentieth Amendment: The person elected as Vice President will become President. 2) Suppose something happens on November 4 such that no election takes place. Then Congress will decide who the next President will be. Since Bush no longer qualifies, it cannot be him. Is it really that difficult to read the Constitution? P.S. Is not this why were so concerned about Iran terrorists that blow themselves up having missle and nucleur capabilities. No, we're concerned with them having nuclear capabilities becuase then Israel and the US couldn't impose fear into the Iranians.
