Well, not quite. If the target ducks into an area where the laser designator can't light them up then the bullet has no choice but to hit on whatever the laser is painting. Which means, of course, each gunner will need to keep the laser mounted on the top of his rifle illuminating the target for however long the bullet is in flight else lose the kill. Laser must have direct line of site with the target.
The point being is that as a sniper at long range pulls off a round the target may choose to just casually change his stance from one leg to the other, turn to look at a pretty girl, etc, and avoid the hit. With this beast it doesn't matter how the target moves. If the sniper can keep the laser on the dumb bastards temple no matter how he moves, that is exactly where the bullet will hit.
