Seeing stuff like this really makes me glad I'm not a black American with real social problems requiring real solutions.
Black Americans are probably glad you're not on their side too.

On my side are actual solutions to the real problems that face African Americans, other minorities, and the poor in general.
Well, on your side are the people who think black lives don't matter - like the KKK. Even if you claim you have the best interests of black people at heart, you don't come across as "on their side" if you attack other people who are on their side.
Jon writes:
In fact I'm rather perplexed by the people who do support such movements like Black Lives Matter....
Don't a lot of black people support those movements?

Some black folk, just like some white folk, just don't have a clue in hell how to improve the lot of African Americans, and we have no reason to support their nonsense.
You're using a small number of "criminal hooligans" to condemn the whole Black Lives Matter movement - i.e. you're claiming that the whole Black Lives Matter movement and all of its supporters, both black and white, "don't have a clue in hell". Or maybe you're the one who doesn't have a clue in hell.

How 'bout you show the efficacy of the Black Lives Matter movement?
The efficacy of the Black Lives Matter movement is irrelevant. I'm only countering your claim that it's "evil".
Jon writes:
Why don't you offer something other than irrelevant and baseless accusations of racism and blind support for a demonstratively unsuccessful effort to improve the lives of U.S. blacks?
Are you changing your argument from "just a clever cover for criminal hooliganism" to "unsuccessful"?

Well I never said it was 'evil', so as usual you're just barking at the wind.
You said, "... the Black Lives Matter movement is just a clever cover for criminal hooliganism." Message 1
So stop being evasive and let's try again: Are you changing your argument from "just a clever cover for criminal hooliganism" to "unsuccessful"?

Their goal is to make black lives matter. Have you read their list of demands?
I googled one:
quote:
We demand an end to all forms of discrimination and the full recognition of our human rights.
We demand an immediate end to police brutality and the murder of Black people and all oppressed people.
We demand full, living-wage employment for our people.
We demand decent housing fit for the shelter of human beings and an end to gentrification.
We demand an end to the school to prison pipeline & quality education for all.
We demand freedom from mass incarceration and an end to the prison industrial complex.
We demand a racial justice agenda from the White House that is inclusive of our shared fate as Black men, women, trans and gender-nonconforming people. Not My Brother's Keeper, but Our Children's Keeper.
We demand access to affordable healthy food for our neighborhoods.
We demand an aggressive attack against all laws, policies, and entities that disenfranchise any community from expressing themselves at the ballot.
We demand a public education system that teaches the rich history of Black people and celebrates the contributions we have made to this country and the world.
We demand the release of all U.S. political prisoners.
We demand an end to the military industrial complex that incentivizes private corporations to profit off of the death and destruction of Black and Brown communities across the globe. link
Seriously, you don't think an end to the murder of black people will make black lives better? You don't think full employment will make black lives better? You don't think decent housing will make lives better?

What they want seems pretty reasonable. What the @#$% is your problem?

If you think fighting racism is going to have a significant impact on the lives of African Americans, then prove it.
I think fighting colonialism had a significant impact on colonial Americans. There seems to be a parallel....
