Many undocumented immigrants which qualify for DACA are able to get driver's licenses in a large number of states (with the exception of deeply conservative states, such as Texas).

And jar correctly implies that this issue -- undocumented immigrants being unable to get driver's licenses and insurance -- is the fault of the system, not the immigrants themselves.
​
If you've filed for DACA, then how are you undocumented? Does that not document you? According to wiki: DACA does confer non-immigrant legal status but does not provide a path to citizenship.

So the issue is the employer and not the immigrant.

This is what pisses me off about the immigration issue. Why doesn't anyone go after the employers?
​
It's always the poor guy who's trying to find a better life and never the companies that are hiring illegals.
​
People that want to crack down on illegal immigrants taking jobs should be going after the companies that employ them, not the people who are accepting the positions.
