I think that MOST of the people that dont believe in evolution are too stupid or not smart enough to comprehend the idea. I have seen the skulls of the many different human ape species. That is physical tangible proof.
I have heard of all the different gods. Where are they at? I have never seen them. They kinda remind me of Santa Clause or the Tooth Fairy. I was too stupid or not smart enough when I believed in them....

quote: JM: Hmm, ok I'll bite. Where have you seen 1/2 ape 1/2 human skulls? One hint: It's ok to challenge creationists to think about things, but you should not make proclamations that are false to uphold your own views. Just so you know, I am an evolutionist and I agree that young earth creationism holds no water, but bring it down a notch! Cheers Joe Meert

quote: I think JM was pointing out that things aren`t half this and half that but all of something else if you follow... IOW Neanderthals weren`t half ape and half human they were instead all neanderthal (and happened to be a lot closer to humans than apes).....

On another note seeing as how humans are really smart apes how can something be part ape and part human surely that would make them half ape and half ape, or IOW 100% ape......

"I think that MOST of the people that dont believe in evolution are too stupid or not smart enough to comprehend the idea."
--Your logic is failing even before you step in to debate. "I have seen the skulls of the many different human ape species."--So have I, but I guess someone with arthritis, rickets, or pegets disease doesn't qualify as a human, nor does an ape who's remains have been scattered over multi-mile radius and variance in cranium capacity. "That is physical tangible proof."--They can prove that these are factual homonids but they are unable to do so with a heliocentric solar system, not to mention relativity, quantum theory, or gravity. "I have heard of all the different gods."--Me too. "Where are they at? I have never seen them."--If he were to show himself to you, he would be a liar. "They kinda remind me of Santa Clause or the Tooth Fairy."--You remind me of my 11 year old brother.. "I was too stupid or not smart enough when I believed in them...."--I guess so, its always unfortunate to see a mind go bad. ------------------ [This message has been edited by TrueCreation, 03-25-2002]

quote: You've mentioned this before TC: what are you getting at? You seem to be implying - without coming out and saying it - that fossil hominids are actually diseased humans. Is that your view? If not, what is? quote: Say what?
quote: Wow! Two people on the board with a comprehensive knowledge of comparative mythology! Excellent. Now you guys can answer those burning questions of mine about whether or how the relationship between celtic nature gods Nantosuelta and Sucellus can be compared to that between the Finnish duo Akka and Ukko.

"Where are they at? I have never seen them." --If he were to show himself to you, he would be a liar.
Did he lie to Moses? Just out of interest.

My grandfather thought that the simple faith of his family was, as you say "too stupid" to grieve the death of his wife and that is why he went after evolution THINKING rather than Christianty and taught evolution to teachers. But notice this is about a decision of thought not fact of interpretation of data. There is good thought about horizontal evolution (speciation) say Wright would call back to Darwin but the results are far wider than the thought that one has about to believe or not in "evolution", e.g. agriculture etc.

Hey, TC. I'd like to learn about those early humans with rickets. Tell me about them, won't you?
Is it possible you're thinking of Neandertals?

--lol, ok I think that I must rephrase this sentance for you as well as with Pamboli: rsmith57asdf: "That is physical tangible proof."TrueCreation: So they can prove that these skulls (not to mention hips and pelvis, which are a usual piece that was not made reference to in rsmith57asdf's post) are factual homonids, but we are still unable to see proof of a heliocentric solar system, not to mention relativity, quantum theory, or gravity. (Something some Old Earthers on these boards readily cling to when someone mention's 'proof' in the same sentance as the words 'evolution' or 'an old earth') Is there need for more clarification for this prospect? ------------------

Good logic, TC.
rsmith enters the discussion biased against all those who have chosen creation with an open mind because of the evidence. He has just flamed alot of people and, if he previously had any good points to talk about, those who were offended by his post will not now listen to them. tsk, tsk. I'm not very offended, however, and if he has any points to talk about other than the skulls theory, which is very flimsy, i'd still be willing to listen to him.
