..or fable, parable, story or whatever you want to call it!
A creationist and an evolutionist go to a bar during the day and get very drunk. So drunk, they pass out at the bar and forget what colour the sky is. When they wake up it is still light outside.
"Hey, we need to know the colour of the sky" says the evolutionist,
"Yes, you're right" the creationist replies.
"I think the sky is red" says the evolutionist
"Well I believe it to be yellow" the creationist says in return.
Just then a random person walks into the bar. The creationist sees his chance.
"Hey buddy," the creationist slurs "is the sky red?"
"Well, I've seen the sky and you can tell you it ain't red!" says the man. A little confused, he leaves the bar.
"Ha!" shouts the creationist "I have good evidence that the sky isn't red. Therefore it must be yellow. You are wrong, I must be right!"
The evolutionist lifts his head from the bar and says "Well I'm going outside to check."
"Go ahead" says the creationist "I know that you are wrong, so the sky must be yellow!"
With that the evolutionist goes outside and sees that the sky is infact, blue.
"Hey, the sky is blue, come and see!" yells the evolutionist.
"No, I'm fine here" said the creationist.
And so he sat there, safe in the knowledge that the sky is yellow.
There you go. I'm not expressing my own opinion here, I just what to know what people think if it, whether it has any significance to the EvC debate etc.

Doesn't an anecdote have to be a relating of an actual event? Isn't this more of a parable or fable?
