I've always thought that Boston missed the boat by not naming one of its high school teams the "Stranglers." The same could be said about Dallas high schools for not picking "Snipers" as a team name. But something like this happened in Richland, Washington. When the brave people of Richland learned in 1945 that the plutonium they processed out on the Hanford Site was used in a bomb to blow up Nagasaki they named their high-school sport teams after it:
Dig that mushroom-cloud logo.
Go Bombers! And get a half-life!
