First I'd like to say hi to everybody here.
I came across this site while searching for information regarding evolution versus creation. The majority of my debate class is pro-evolution, and I am one of the stubborn people they try time after time to prove their points to. I've been, for a while, measuring the evidence according to different articles in school databases and on google. Clearly, Evolutionists are winning this contest. I'm in need of a place to start in trying to understand the tiniest details of what goes on during the process of Evolution, natural selection, etc. I'm sure no one can point me to a all knowing book, or single source, that 'has it all', but something that would start me in a good (non-bias) direction would be great. I have, like all people, a preconceived model of how I think things started. I am a Messianic Jew, which many people consider Christian. I believe in the Creationist viewpoint at the moment, because when I look at Evolution with the orthodox of scientists behind it, and support, I feel instinctively that something isn't quite right. That the picture is missing something, something very important, something thats being left out. This is all just a generalization of my current mental state on the issue. I hope you guys can help

Welcome to EvC
Welcome to EvC Skynt,
Thank you for proposing a new topic and adding to our diversity. Since you are new to EvC, I suggest that you carefully read the Forum Guidelines and familiarize yourself with the functions of EvC by using the Practice Makes Perfect Forum or posting in existing threads.
Since you really haven't proposed a topic for debate, I won't be promoting this; but browse the threads and join in the discussions and I'm sure you will find the answers you seek.
The Book Nook and the Links and Information forums may also provide information you are looking for.
In the purple signature box below, you'll find some links that will help make your journey here pleasant.
Abide by the Forum Guidelines and all will go well.
Again welcome and fruitful debating. Purple

Usually, in a well-conducted debate, speakers are either emotionally uncommitted or can preserve sufficient detachment to maintain a coolly academic approach.-- Encylopedia Brittanica, on debate

    try going to appropriate threads
As noted your OP is a pretty broad statment of your present view. There isn't anything specific to start a discussion on.
I think you would do well to ask questions on individual threads.
The recent posts here have had very little to do with the debate and have mostly been on non science topics. If you are a young earther then perhaps the best place to start is the "Dates and Dating" thread and ask questions there.
If you are over that hurdle then the links and books stuff suggested may help.
This is a pretty darn good place to learn. There are some practicing scientists in the appropriate fields who will answer questions. In addition a few of us laypeople are good at pretending to know stuff too.
