Nothing to worry about. Don't blow it out of proportion.
FEMA has Pre-Positioned Supplies and First Responders in Houston.
See Message 5 for maps of the area.
Oh, one other thing.
The Mayor of Houston has asked everybody in low lying areas (If there were a Mount Houston it would probably be at 30 or 35 Foot Elevation) to beat feet.
If the HIGH over the mid section moves east Rita will probably visit Houston. If it stalls out it's likely Rita will stick her tongue in my ear.
One BIG difference. Where Houston sits about 10-20 feet on average above sea level, I'm at 100'+. And they call it the Valley.

I'm about 200+ miles south of Houston. No rain in the forcast. Today was 104. Tomorrow I will be helping shoot a wedding. Expected temp 102+.
