From your Wiki link, the current effective cost is US$120 per oil-barrel-equivalent. I don't know about you, but I find that pretty exciting. I'd always imagined these fuel sources were at least an order of magnitude more expensive. I'm sure with some SERIOUS investment and research, this can be slashed.
