I was just reading about Steve Jobs and it struck me what his sister said during her eulogy:
"She concluded her eulogy by sharing Jobs’ final moments, which were spent staring lovingly at his family, and his final three monosyllabic words as he stared into the distance past their shoulders: OH WOW. OH WOW. OH WOW."
As a Roman Catholic I believe in life after death in an existence that is too wonderful to actually know.
I wonder, if and what effect , these last words of Jobs had on the memembers of this Forum

1) You can't believe that Steve Jobs was seeing heaven, because he rejected the divinity and salvation of Christ and therefore under your church's doctrine was destined for Hell, and
2) The notion that the living - even the only barely living - can peer into God's realm of the afterlife is a deeply occult and therefore anti-Catholic doctrine.
Under the Church's doctrine one can turn to God at any time. So it not necessarily true that he was destined for Hell.
Whatever God wants can happen. We as catholics believe in appearances by the Blessed Mother for example Fatima. We don't judge God by natural standards.
I am not saying Jobs saw heaven, I am just saying that these words gave me comfort, based upon my faith.
It to me just seemed as his sister described it that he was at peace. I hope that is true and he died at peace.
