Should intellectually honest fundamentalists live like the Amish?

They are not ad hominem. They are direct insults to the individual not an attack on the conclusions of the individual based on who they are. It does deserve a time out of course. It is also an excellent post which summarizes Faith's problem with geology. Then, wonderfully, Faith comes in and claims to know something about geology while admitting to not being a geolgist and does this while arguing with a trained geologist. This is exactly what the "creationists learning" thread is about. There are only two ways to react to this: one is with amusement but I'm glad that this time Rox was not able to take that route.
