I keep asking you, "Does Donald Trump work a thousand times harder than I do?" and you never answer. Does he work harder than Dillinger?

I prefer to think he has different goals than I do: his goal is to make a lot of money; Dillinger had the same goal.

Don't get me wrong. I like Donald trump - but you don't get rich by giving it away, which is one reason I'm not rich. (On the other hand, I'm sure he gives away a lot more than I do, so the overall effect may be better.)

I'm just saying that if I give a thousand and he gives a milion, that's a lot more help. It's quite possible that the harm he does outweighs the help.

Maybe you need to replace the people who are doing the hiring. Ever hear of the Peter Principle?

I'm just saying, maybe the hiring manager is careful to hire people who don't threaten his job. Hire the incompetent and the lazy and you have no upwardly-mobile competition.

At the moment, I'm a floor sweeper in two retail stores. I make more than the sales "associates". (In my book, you're an "associate" if your office is near the boardroom; if your locker is in the lunchroom, you're an employee. Instead of a cutsie title, I'd rather have the money and just be loosely affiliated with the associates.)
