was down to 1°F this morning, now warmed to 9°F ... but forecast is for sub-zero in a couple days.
We did NOT get the snow they predicted so the roads are still bare and the snowshoes are still waiting. We did get some freezing rain so there is a crust on the snow from last week.

They got ~4.5 inches of rain in Newport in the last 24 hours....for Oregon that is a lot.
Heading down I5 to Eugene to meet one of dragonfly friends for coffee.

55 and dry with a terrific wind that has labored all night and day to this point trying to haul all those pineapples over the Sierra. We're supposed to get the first rain in a couple hours or so.

Sweet sound of rain for the last half hour. Haven't checked to see if it also tastes sweet.

More snow that won't stop until late tonight, predicted totals are 8 to 12 inches, we've already had 3 feet over the previous two weeks, it's 12 degrees now with a predicted high of 15.
But poor Boston, they're getting hit even worse than us.

25 miles from Boston and my plow guy is going to have to bring in a front-end loader to move the huge pile so he can pile up some more.

My gray sweater had a hole in it right under the armpit. I threw it out and put on the blue one today.
