You probably should not mix two things in one post. Any dating discussion should be in Dates and Dating.

The issue of the validity of Genesis could be proposed for Faith and Belief. ( Don't lets start here but you might note that most Christians and a lot of the athiests do not think that you have to throw out the whole bible if Genesis isn't literally correct. What does have to be thrown out is the interpretations of a minority.)
