Moose,Rrhain and I have had our differences, sure.I admit I'm a product of my generation, and that's put me at odds with Rrhain at times. Regardless of their feelings, I'll probably always call bundles of tied-up sticks 'faggots,' and I don't know how many more times I'm going to have to apologize for referring to French Guyana jackrabbits as 'jungle bunnies.' Let the PC crowd try to change me, it won't work.However, I hate to see anyone with as much logical debating prowess as Rrhain get lumped in with a goon squad like the one above. No one else runs circles around the philosophically unprepared with the aplomb of our man Rrhain. He doesn't deserve to keep company with fools like Wise and Fred, something I wouldn't wish on a dog I didn't like.------------------

I think Rhrain and doctrbill obviously know alot about the Bible, that's why their there. I'm just glad I didn't put you on my list because everyone else on it would then be complaining. The reason why Wise is on the list is because I couldn't wait to get home to read his threads, they were entertaining, but some questions he posed actually made sense in showing what evolution/big bang cannot explain in theory.------------------

I don't understand. Light is a part of our lives, our universe, doesn't that need to be explained by the Big Bang? Well Wise may have confused evolution with the Big Bang. I should have simply stated Big Bang, by saying evolution you are right that theory has nothing to do with that, so by saying evolution I am also wrong.------------------

Fortenberry on top of my list for presentation, fairness, acuracy and thorough research. John, Messenja, Prozacman, Syamsu, Nosy Ned, Defenderofthefaith all come to mind for varied reasons and I'm sure I've forgotten some worthy of mention. Percy and Moose both admirable and fair administrators, as well as good posters.

messenjah, I did warn you that this topic is very complex. It is mind warping in fact. I have a degree in physics and I can NOT say that I really understand it.But re ask in the correct forum and I'm sure a few of us will try to answer what questions you have.However, one thing. The "just was" bit. The big bang doesn't have a good explanation for what started it. It is an unknown right now. Although there are some speculations around quantum fluctuations and objects moving in a 10 D space that collided. So the big bang "just did".[This message has been edited by NosyNed, 11-03-2003]

You know, I'd like to second buz's praise of you, Messenjah, although I am loathe to agree with Buz on anything. Specifically, you're refreshingly direct and honest. You say what you mean, you mean what you say, you own up to your mistakes, and while you sometimes get upset, I've never seen you ridicule anyone or try to make someone feel stupid.Hey, you ain't perfect (y'know, like me), but I appreciate your presence here.
