But it doesn't. You just got finished saying earlier:
"in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word and God were one"
by this question: how do you speak without a mouth?
The obvious answer, based on observation of what is 'real', is that one doesn't. No mouth, no speech. Your awareness of this reality is what led you to ask the question in the first place.
The statement does not 'makes sense in the laws of the universe.' It thus does not meet your own stated criterion for belief in it as the word of God.
You may safely move on now to the next book.
