You're basically claiming that hundreds of species that never interbreed in the wild are the same species.
An example of this problem would be the Liger or the Tion. Tiger's and Lion's are considered seperate species but mating between them can produce a 'viable' though infertile offspring.
Or for that matter, horses and donkeys and mules.
