Gee, you could fit a God ina gap that big!
Galatians 6:7 "Do not be decieved: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows".
I'm sorry I am getting off topic, but I had to show you God's reply to your sarcasm.
Sure, we're sweating bullets
Why doesn't this make you concerned?
First of all, you have no idea how a God might reply to my sarcasm. I think She would be as amused by your silliness as I was.
A propensity to reply for God when one's statements are rejected or ridiculed suggests that one is not only ignorant but self-righteous and far too self-important.
Secondly, there is no missing link. The succession of ancestral species in human evoluion is rich and clear.
Thirdly (and this applies to the second point above as well), attacking gaps in the fossil record is like saying a man is a know-nothing because he only knows something. No one but a know-it-all would do that, and know-it-alls tend to be self-righteously ignorant.
The attack on gaps in the fossil record appeals to creationists because every time new fossils are found, more gaps are created.
That is an absurd perspective: supposedly, by your lights, the more we know, the wronger we get. That kind of frank stupidity invites sarcasm. If you don't like sarcasm, don't ask for it.
Simiarly, declaring that YECs deal with the fossil record by not believing it suggests that they are insane.
I do, in fact, have an insane acquaintance, and he will consider clear, present, iron-clad evidence (like the lack of a turban-clad Arab peering in the patio doors, where he claimed to see one), look at you calmly, and say, "I don't have to believe that."
So the YEC position on the fossil record is a symptom, not a model.
All the comments you consider off-topic so far in this thread are in response to your own assertions and assumptions. How could they be off-topic?
Finally, you lack the power to close threads. You can stop participating because you don't like what you are hearing from others. That happens all the time with creationists here, since they have no reasoned support or evidence for their claims, and the world refutes them at every turn.
Only the old toughies, like Buzsaw, have the grit to stay and take it day after day, and that's only because he has the damage assessment capabilities of Monty Python's Black Knight.
Real things always push back.-William James
