You have to {gasp!} think about it and make your own decisions. Parts of it obviously can be trusted, parts obviously cannot be trusted, for some parts it's not obvious whether or not they can be trusted. The overall message is (IMHO) valuable and worth paying attention to.
​
Different people will come to different conclusions about what can be trusted. Most of those conclusions I wouldn't argue, even if I disagree.

Two points.
​
One, Genesis is a myth, that does not tell an accurate story about the cration of the Universe and the Earth and life. This does not mean that it is false.
​
Second, yes, you can't be sure. Life is unsure. There's no guarantee that you will ever be sure. Get over it.

Evolution contradicts Genesis. There is no compromise unless on your own behalf.

That is not a fact; it is an artifact of your (and AIG's) peculiar interpretation of Genesis.
