The circumference of the rings on a tree divided by the one before it = 1.618.
Go find a tree stump to sit on while you think about this one for a few minutes. A thought experiment alone is enough to disprove this....

height/navel = 1.63
arm/cubit = 1.53
measured by my wife, the expert seamstress, too.
