It's a fair question.Well, the ranchers do get free stuff (or, to be accurate, very cheap stuff) from the federal government. On the other hand, times are hard for ranchers, it's not like they're using BMWs to herd up their cows. Maybe the government should be doing more for them. But then I don't like their presentation of themselves as small-government libertarians who just want the government to get off their backs when what they're actually asking for is (in a sense) more socialism.

Here's an article written by an Oregon rancher. No, it does not explain why a bunch of loons from Nevada should go to Oregon against the wishes of the locals to take up arms against America and seize a bird sanctuary in support of correctly-convicted arsonists, so it's not really something "on the Bundy side". And she had so many other candidates with one-syllable names to choose from. Still, in the end her choice was obvious, and she expressed it in a bizarre, deranged speech, not that a speech touting Trump as the next President could be anything else.
