Islam teaches violence even though most Muslims don't follow it that far. But because it does there is always the potential for Muslims to get radicalized by following it strictly. That's what is happening. Christianity doesn't teach violence at all. Any proclivities would be personal, individual, and against their religion. Criminal background for anyone should be checked if possible of course.Isn't this obvious?

If he wants more than the screening process already in place, perhaps he's aware of its insufficiencies. Why is that so hard to follow?

I'd ask more sophisticated questions than that. Perhaps quote the Koran or ask them to. Ask them what they think of the verses about jihad but switch around. It's not that hard to come up with questions that reveal a person's mental set.So are you convinced now that Muslims are burning cars in France?

I'd heard of the screening process as a matter of fact but figured it's not very efficient. Trump obviously is concerned that potential jihadists are not being identified, whatever screening he knows about.

YOu know perfectly well I'm not talking about a "random Muslim." There are hundreds of them burning cars in France. We KNOW it's jihad. Only the left doesn't.
