I think that gay marriage is a direct attack on IS or ISIS.

Minnemouseus writes: I don't really know, but my wife of around 30 years did insist on a beautiful wedding cake when we got married. Not as extravagant as that one on the photo's photographed in some palace, but the one we got was very, very expensive in those days. I thought she was insane, but did it for wedding bliss and didn't want to spoil her day. Maybe one of the secrets of a long and happy marriage is an expensive wedding cake? Being a cynical life long never married, why would any sane person want to spend a bunch of money on such a thing? But, I agree with you, paying lots of money for a wedding cake is ridiculous. My wife disagrees. Yet, she is very, very sane. Maybe all the trappings involved in a wedding are more important to females than to males? In my case the wedding was special, but not really that special. To her it meant a lot. Maybe some men do attach just as much importance to the meaning of a wedding day as my wife did? Each person thinks differently, I guess.

I see gay marriage as an attack on Isis. The more gays get married and insist on their rights, the worst Isis looks like.

Me and my wife recently attended a gay wedding of two of our Muslim friends in a Mosque in Manenberg, a majority Muslim suburb of Cape Town.
I saw it as a personal attack on Isis! Edited by Pressie, : No reason given. Edited by Pressie, : No reason given.

faith writes: Not for me. My common sense tells me that when any two consenting adults want to get married, I have no right to even contemplate interfering with their decision. No matter whether they are male or female or intersex. It's got absolutely nothing to do with me. Their decisions don't affect me. At all. That's what my common sense tells me. And quite frankly it also seems to me that common sense would tell a person that marriage is for a man and a woman not two of the same sex --... Edited by Pressie, : No reason given.

Nope. Murder is the killing human beings. Termination of pregnacy is not murder. No religion involved.
And, gay marriages do not have anyting to do with abortion. Try to stay on the subject. Edited by Pressie, : No reason given.

I attended my first gay marrige last Saturday in a Christian church, even though gay marrige has been legal in my country for many years.
Two of my friends got married. The reception was fun. The 'gay agenda' and all that...I look forward to years of absolute rule by my fabulous new Overlords. Edited by Pressie, : No reason given.

I actually see gay marriage as a very powerful rejection of the beliefs of those religious people and their ilk who purposefully fly planes into buildings for their beliefs.

Luckily for humanity your personal considerations don't count, as they did it in the name of their religion. So, to get back to the topic.
Gay Marriage as an attack on Christianity I see gay marrige as an attack on the beliefs of those people who flew planes into buildings.

This was a funny one.
Faith writes: I've read from the word salads spewed by WLC that Christianity is supposedly not a religion, but a "personal relationship". This is the first time I've heard a Christian religious apologist claiming that Islam is not a religion... I don't consider those people "religious," they have a murderous ideology akin to The Third Reich or various murderous Communist regimes. I can only laugh.

Certainly hostile to the religion of those people who flew into buildings. Certainly the law that requires us to accept gay marriage against our biblical viewpoint is hostile to Christianity Edited by Pressie, : No reason given.

I disgree. Gay marriages do challenge Islam. Gay marriges are a challenge to non-christian religions.
