Re: so why not?
If you believe that MOHAMMUD issent by God . why did not you follow the relegion he bring??
I do. It's called Christianity. IMHO, the God of Islam, the Jew and the Christian is the very same God.
If all the Judaic faiths would slow down and admit that, wouold it make life in Amman a little better?
To elaborate, IMHO God did reach out to all people. That is the basic purpose shown in the Old Testament. Somewhat later, in an attempt to reach even more people, he reached out through Jesus. Still later, he reached out through Mohammud.
But it is the same God and the same message. All are children of the book. Afterall, had it not been for the support Mohammud recieved from his Jewish allies, would he have reached Medina and Mecca? Would Islam even exist were it not for the support of the other children of the book?

What are the two Great Commandments?
I believe, and I know this will offend, that Islam is a satanically controlled religion.
But you are also totally wrong there. Islam is a religion based on the God of Abraham and Isaac. Unless Satan is the God of Abraham and Isaac, you have somewhat of a problem there.

If that is true then the average IQ on this forum would not break double digits. LOL!!!

And Nasa, you know what I mean, too. If you caught leprosy, would you try antibiotics, or stick with killing pigeons over water? I'd go for the former, myself. Science works a helluva lot more "miracles" every day than all religions together have since they started.

I believe it was the devil, Jesus said, do not follow the false prophets!
And in the Koran, it says quite specifically that Mohammad is not a false prophet, but the last true prophet. Therefore, Jesus's commandment does not apply here.

Coming Soon!- As Jesus foretold may I add.
Christians have been claiming that Jesus is "coming soon" for almost 2,000 years. After awhile you have to conclude that they are barking up the wrong tree.

Of course God is still using miracles today. How else can you explain the wonderful ways He removes children from suffering in this world? Malaria, diarrhoea,HIV/Aids,measles,etc. Then there are the caring Acts of God--starvation from drought, floods,hurricanes,plagues--the list is endless. I think His best year was back in 1995, when he removed 25 million kids from torment.

what is Christianity?
You said :
Somewhat later, in an ATTEMPT to reach even more people, he reached out THROUGH Jesus. Still later, he reached outTHROUGH Mohammud.
*God(ALLAH) do NOT ATTEMPT .HE DO.
*God do not need some one to reach through .HE SENT JESUS AND MOHAMMUD.
Then you says:
Afterall, had it not been for the support Mohammud recieved from his Jewish allies, would he have reached Medina and Mecca? Would Islam even exist were it not for the support of the other children of the book?
Mohammud reached madeena and mecca by the support of God(ALLAH).not any others.
God(ALLAH) do what he want to do .not what his creatures help to do!!!

You are being ironic? right?
THIS SENTENCE IS TRUE.
Well, that is after all better than "THIS SENTENCE IS FALSE".
peace,

Come to think of it...

"As Jesus Foretold, coming soon to a theater near you. This movie is not yet rated."

Why doesn't God do miracles today?
God does do miracles today through those that are faithful and believe on Him !

What about all the people who don't belive in god, yet have done great things for this world?
Besides, why does god waste his time working "thrugh" anyone, cant he snap hos fingers and just make whatever he wants happen?
this goes to you too dondon.
God, allah, whatever, is all powerfull. So why is he wasting his time with these mere mortals?
Case in point,
If there was an olympic bodybuilder, and he was in a room full of parapelgic midgets. And he wanted to move a 700Lbs block from one end to the other (an easy task easy for his muscular self), whats the better chice? Wait for the midgets or just do it himself?
hehehehe

Re: Why doesn't God do miracles today?
The Lord will work thru anyone who is sincere, Yaro, yourself included. He works on behalf of the faith of those involved.
Maybe God is wanting to work thru you but you have never believed it! ...
long ago God set up Authority where man had dominion over the earth and could choose to do things their way or depend on Him, His Way.
Most times God has to intervene in people's lives for good things to be the end result. God waits for us to come to Him that good may be done, wisdom used, etc...

Is it just me, or does anyone else get close to hysterical giggles when they see this construction? A funny 1611 usage of a preposition, and some sects of modern churchgoers think it has a Higher Meaning (TM) of some obscure sort! Odd. Real odd.
