Paraphrasing Arthur C. Clarke's third law:

I would arrive at:
Any sufficiently powerful sentience is indistinguishable from god.
At some level of powerfulness we would not know if the entity was all powerful or not.
At some level of intelligence we might also not know if the entity was intelligent or not.
