Will the Gospel Jesus kill innocent children because of the sins of their parents?
Assuming we accept that Jesus and God are one and the same, the bible is full of precedent for such an act. Hell, massacaring out whole nations didn't exactly cause God to blink twice.

Can you take the NT on it's own? As a literal document, I mean (once you've decided it isn't literal contradictions are irrelevant). Jesus is wondering around quoting the old, and fulfilling prophecies that demonstrate him to be the messiah as well as claiming (obtusely) to be god.
