Re: Probably a kid's website
Greetings, To sum it all up. I feel it is wiser to speak with people "live" then to read websites alone.
Thanks FitzgeraldR

Re: Probably a kid's website
Greetings, You're correct. I need time out. I work somewhere in the mist of 60 hrs per week. 2 children 6 and 2 months old. I go to college and am taking nursing classes. SO respectfully you could not be any more correct. I need time out.
Thanks FitzgeraldR

Re: Aleph/B
sl33w, Do you have any links to reference that information besides your claim? I am interested in learning more about that claim.

Re: Force
sl33w, I have used the blue letter bible online for a long time and in the past I seem to remember that the hebrew word "elohim" can be used to mean both god and gods depending on the context of the writing. I will check into your references. Edited by Force, : No reason given.

Re: Force
IAJ, whether or not you're politically correct in that last post "52" is irrelevant because the entire post "52" is irrelevant to this thread. Edited by Force, : edit

Re: Aleph/B
IAJ,
sl33w in response to Force writes: In 1706, Matthew Henry translated "plural Gods" correctly in his commentary on Genesis. IAJ in response to sl33w writes: Motivation: if Mathew did not alter the meaning - there could not be christianity You're an idiot. What about the catholic church forming way before 1706. You're an idiot. What about the reformations in the 1500s. You're an idiot! Whether or not the name is plural has nothing to do with Christianity. Do not respond as you're an IDIOT. IAJ,
IAJ writes: What's your point? Everything comes from other sources - including said divine inspirational writings. The vital factor is what is being said, it is historically vindicated, and does it stand up to today's knowledge and to the factor of truth. While there is hardly any verification of most bibles and scriptures of their origins, I found no negating factors of the OT. IOW, there is no contradictory, contemporary writings of disputation - which is not the case with the NT and Quran. The point is that the manuscripts in the Bible, even the Torah, are errant. In regards to the Torah there are differences and disputations in it. Earlier in this thread Brian pointed out some of those differences. http:// EvC Forum: Inerrant Bible Manuscripts? --> EvC Forum: Inerrant Bible Manuscripts?
IAJ writes: Better than where it comes from, is what is its value. Even Einstein applied other sources - yet his writings were profound. The scriptures in the Bible are still errant. Edited by Force, : edit Edited by Force, : restart Edited by Force, : edit - grammar
Thanks
