Members are only members
Member: A distinct part of a whole
I'm sorry but its only a whole when you got every person in and of the religion to agree.

Amen. writes: your claiming its your house when its not actually your house. being a member of a religion is like being a guest in someones house.... Not at all. A member is not a guest.
lets say my house resembles my religion. I invite you as a guest in my house. You are nothing more then a guest in my house. you have no right to tear down my house, since it is my house and I'm the owner. You have no authority, understand? But you have authority. Understand? You have every right to rebuild your own house and the members of a club have every right to rebuild their clubhouse.
last time I checked, a member of a religion is nothing more then just a member. You've been checking in the wrong place. The members are the church.
a member is just a guest.. Nonsense. A member and a guest are completely different things. “Faith moves mountains, but only knowledge moves them to the right place” -- Joseph Goebbels

Joe Smith changed the religion. From what I can see, you only gave me 10 Leaders that lead different groups of people, though they have something in common, of which they created different groups in only 1 Religion. You gave me 12 names, so let me break it down for you. There were only 2 people that actually made a religion.1) Jesus Christ: Christianity, which the term Christian is derived from the name Christ, therefor Christianity is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ. 2)Muhammad: was the founder of Islam: is a monotheistic Abrahamic religion originating with the teachings of Muhammad. The other people created Groups and named them after themselves, therefor I know what direction the 10 groups teachings go and what religion they belong under. They Belong under Christianity. Say what? Well from the name of the people you gave me, it seems only 2 are Founders of 2 separate religions.

Wow... Can you actually lay down some facts or something please, cause your annoying me with this "No" and "thats nonsense". So how about you try and convince me why you are right and why I'm wrong or you can shut up and get out of my topic, what do you say to that?

Well why don't you explain to me why and stop this "nonsense" bullshit or shut up and get out of my topic. Thank you. Nonsense. A member and a guest are completely different things. sincerely your, Amen.

Amen. writes: quote: Depends, did they tear it down and start from scratch or did they decide to keep the furniture, then mess around for a little bit? Doesn't matter a bit. They have every right to do whatever they want with the clubhouse they own - from polishing the doorknob to demolishing the whole thing and starting over.

So how about you try and convince me why you are right and why I'm wrong or you can shut up and get out of my topic, what do you say to that? I say: Why don't you respond to the point instead of just ranting? A member of a club is not a guest. A member has full privileges. He can bring a guest to enjoy limited privileges. A member of a country club can play golf, use the steam room, reserve the ballroom for his daughter's wedding reception, attend the annual business meeting and vote on club business. He can bring a friend as his guest and the guest can play golf with the member, maybe even use the steam room with the member - but the guest can't reserve the ballroom, attend the business meeting or vote on anything. That's the difference between a member and a guest. Now, why can't the members decide to rebuild the clubhouse? “Faith moves mountains, but only knowledge moves them to the right place” -- Joseph Goebbels

From what I can see, you only gave me 10 Leaders that lead different groups of people, though they have something in common, of which they created different groups in only 1 Religion. You really seem to know nothing about religious history. After each of the people I mention, religion changed. Stop and actually look at religion, try to learn something about religion. Let me give you a hint or three. You said:
quote: There is a club called the "Baker Street Irregulars". Who founded the Baker Street Irregulars? Second, look at the list of folk I named. Find out what part each one played. Third, a religion is more than just a name, it is the sum of the rules established for membership. Return to what you learned above and see if after each of these folk the rules for membership did not change. Immigration has been a problem Since 1607!

Christianity is a religion! members of the catholic church are Christians! members of the baptist church are Christians! if someone is a member of the catholic church, then he is called a catholic, but thats just because the catholic church is 1 of many branches in Christianity and remains 1 of the most Dominate Religion to this day. I do, so I suggest you to do the same. Why would I take your advice, when you obviously don't even follow threw on your own advice.

Hi Amen,
Amen writes: sincerely yours, Amen. I like the avatar. I can't say much for what I have read in the 69 posts. As I was reading you mentioned the foundation many times and I was trying to figure out which foundation you were building on. The rock or the sand? If you say the rock could you please elaborate on what that rock is. Have fun, "John 5:39 (KJS) Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me."

What Religion are you talking about? Whatever the religion was of those people at that time in history. The people I mentioned (and they are just examples, there are literally thousands of such examples) changed their current religion. Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!
