Re: Redshift
Buzz, this isn’t meant for you to answer, simply to consider. The reason I am putting it forward is that it might give you a different take on space. Just consider this more like a Zen concept.
What is TIME made of?

Re: Time
Why can't Time also be an area in which things exist?
You say time is a measurement, but is it just a measurement?
Consider that space can be measured, but you don't seem to consider that space is just a measurement.

Re: Time
Time is the universe's 4th dimension
If the 4th dimension is just a measurement, why isn’t the 3rd just a measurement?
I think this discussion if continued would pull the thread off topic. Mainly I just tossed it out to see if it would give you a different way to think about space. If it doesn’t do that, that’s okay. Maybe someone else will have a comment that will help.

Re: Feynman's lectures.
Deleted since other people had already given suggestions on how to help Buzz and his difficulty playing back the RealAudio files.

Does it take energy for nothing to expand?
Since you seem to have a handle on it, what exactly is energy. I've been trying to get a better grasp on the concept.
