Re: My drinking routine
Here's one: It is never a waste of time to enjoy oneself unless such enjoyment interferes with other, even more enjoyable, activities.
Actually, being a bible, it should be put in a more formal style:
nadanotes. 2.23. Partake freely therefore of the bounteous earth, the dripping honey, the leavened bread, the flesh of goats and the flowing wine, but beware lest ye forfeit the greater good, the comfort of women and the long journey of the mind.
nadanotes. 2.24. For where your appetites are, there will your stomach be also.

Re: My drinking routine
nadanotes. 2:25. Life might be likened to a farmer who must choose which to harvest first, the wheat or the corn. While he is thus taking thought, a storm comes out of the mountains and destroys both crops.
nadanotes. 2.26. Why, Master, do you speak in parables?
nadanotes. 2.27. To protect the truth from the eyes of the vulgar, apostle. Don't ask stupid questions.

Re: Can I still respond to OP?
Hey, is it still ok to respond to the OP?
At least you didn't mention drinking.

I also watch birds--that is, if I can manage to stagger outside. We are waiting for the winter warblers to appear. They will be here any minute now.
And generally we are into "National geographic moments." Had a lot of them lately. Racoons, possum, and big turtles. I've been living here for 25 years and never saw any before in our yard. Something must have disturbed them where they usually stay.

Re: Project Feeder Watch
I just signed up for the Cornell thing. Thanks, Flies only. This should be fun.
