Is "Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice" a porn movie?

Um, maybe because it's possible to explore sexual relationships in a work without the intent being to cause someone to masturbate? By your definition, Romeo and Juliet is porn; Othello is porn. With little to no nudity? How can it be porn of any kind?

Midnight Cowboy, as I recall, is the only X-rated movie to win an Oscar in any category.It's still not porn, of course. I've seen some pretty trashy movies, thanks to a good buddy of mine who's a big John Waters fan. For instance "Pink Flamingoes", starring female impersonator "Divine" in the tale of a heated rivalry between a fat trashy broad and a cabal of malefactors who inseminate transients to harvest the babies to sell to childless lesbians, all to finance their secret plot to hook pre-schoolers into doing and dealing dope.And it's still not porn. It's not a movie I'd recommend to the squeamish - there's a lot of sex with/amidst chickens, and a park flasher who's so under-endowed he has to "augment" himself with a hot dog so that he has something to flash - and it does have considerable nudity, but it isn't pornography, that is, it is not a recording of sexual intercourse with the intent to sexually stimulate. The intent is to be disgusting, not titilating.
