Hello again Agobot.I guess what Percy and Rahvin are trying to say here is that it doesn't matter what QM implies, the experiences we have in our lives are still as real as it gets for us.An apple still tastes like an apple, when you drink alcohol you get drunk, when you cut yourself you bleed, wheter QM is true or not, this still happens as before.When I first heard about some of the things QM implies, I was not "shocked" I was amazed and wondered how all this could be, but I was never shocked. Why would I be, my life doesn't change one bit now that I know it, and neither does anyone else's. Unless they get a bit too obsessed with it and go insane.This seems to tie in nicely with most of the other threads you posted here in the past days. It seems you are distraught that there is no "purpose" to this life, and I asked you this before, I'm asking aain now. Why would there have to be a purpose for this life? I'm quite happy being insignificant, why can't you be?

Nice descriptions there Modulous, I'm more of the:kind myself, except that I do think we can understand what the underlying nature of the cosmos actually means. The lack of understanding in that area is due to a lack of education, not due to a lack of capability, I think.As for people that think like this: I remember a movie that kind of dealt with it in that way, it was called "What the bleep do we know" and frankly, I found it very stupid in the things it claimed. But for those that are interested, I'm sure it can be found somewhere.

Yes, we all know God's a right bastard for creating people. I mean, he knew that if he'd do it terrible thing like the two world wars and the holocaust would happen, and he thought...."ah what the hell, let's do it anyway." And alloting a free will and knowing up front what someone decides takes away that free will. You KNOW what he'll do, so it's not a free will, now is it? You can't have fatser then light comunications because radiowaves travel at the speed of light. Furthermore, there is NO evidence in ANY prophecy, in fact I have yet to see ANY of them be fulfilled. Would you be so kind as to point me to where this is foretold, can't seem to find it. By the way, this is off-topic here, so you might want to do it in another thread. Really? Curiously I can't find anywhere where it says that. Sure, it talks about Israel returning and stuff, it never mentions that this will be the 1948 event. And yet in all his wisdom he forgot to mention this chap named Hitler comming along and killing six million of his chosen people..... Nice fellow this god.
