If there is wisdom in the Bible that a fairly astute person should not be able to figure out for themselves I've yet to see it. What the Bible does offer up as wisdom cut the baby in half and give each a bit wouldn't work in a kindergarden. The Bible gets it's sagacity from the same source as did Chauncey Gardiner: confirmation bias.
