He competed. He achieved nothing in the primaries. He dropped out. He endorsed Romney. And he did so in such a blaze of obscurity that you didn't even notice.So I don't think he has much hope next time around.As I said at the time, no-one called Tim will ever achieve greatness. With a first name like that, the best one can aim for is mild niceness. I don't say it's right, that's just how the world works. You might as well be called Jeremy.

I've only even heard of one of them, and I would not say that Tim Minchin has achieved greatness. He's certainly the greatest Australian-born comic pianist in the world, and yet ...Parents, don't name your kids Tim. It predestines them to a life of pleasant mediocrity.---I notice that you couldn't think of a single Jeremy who's achieved anything at all. Face it, I'm right.
