The CCoi should be allowed to separate themselves from the rest of the world. No law suit is needed in order to accomplish that. Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also in prison. From your perspective all that might be true. But your perspective simply supports their position; the government is sending their kids to hell and the US along with it. Jar, you aren't making sense. They can do that stuff regardless of what does or does not happen to their complaint. What their complaint asks for is the removal of the teaching of science from other folks kids. There is no reason to honor a baseless complaint in order to allow them to separate.
but do little more. I suppose this is the point where we recognize the rights of the parents but deny everyone else any rights to do things like even laugh at the complaint. Yet another obtuse jar response...Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also in prison. Yes, you may see it as child abuse but that is pretty much irrelevant. It has nothing to do with how I see it. It is child abuse, hence the fact that the state would never allow that to happen. Even home schooling is monitored and the parent must be qualified to teach at home and must follow an approved curriculum. - Oni

Nonsense.
Even home schooling is monitored and the parent must be qualified to teach at home and must follow an approved curriculum. Sorry but not even schools are required to follow an approved curriculum or have qualified teachers. Look at A Beka books for an example. Look at all the new accreditation organizations the CCoI has created. Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

Thankfully that is not the case. Actually it turns out that it is the case. Parents are always free to take their kids out of public schools and to put them in homeschools and private schools. In some cases they can even get vouchers to pay for some of the costs with public money.Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also in prison. That many? Universities where they don't teach evolution or proper biology? Or proper geology? Yes. They have their own Universities.

I googled it, because when I was going to homeschool my kids a few years back and we DID have to go through a few qualifying issues and were going to be required to submit test scores, give specific courses and if it was going to go into the high school years there would be credit requirements.
Apparently it's a state by state issue. I was shocked to find some states require nothing at all from the parent and very little course requirements. But it's not "nonsense" as you said. There are laws, but not all the same for every state. As usual, New York has the toughest laws for homeschooling. - Oni Edited by onifre, : No reason given.

It sparked me to google it and as you can read in the post I wrote to him, the laws for home schooling are state by state. - Oni
