"The problem with giving the Lord's word on homosexuality is that people are already confused about what this problem is about. It's not about homosexuality as such, it's about marriage. We could give the scripture that shows God made marriage for a man and a woman but then we get into this huge flap about all the polygamy in the Old Testament which they claim must have been legitimate because there is nothing except the scripture about one man and one woman which they don't think is sufficient.
