I'm neither young nor Muslim but I believe suicide bombings are as justifiable as bombing Muslims. Suicide bombings target civilians. "Bombing muslims" is a false dichotomy as the targets are military or fighters. The intent is not to target civilians.Religious belief does not constitute scientific evidence, nor does it convey scientific knowledge. Belief gets in the way of learning--Robert A. It is not the Christian thing to do for governments to force their citizens to perform any kind of charity against their will. Fortunately since you're a good Christian it's not against your will, is it? ... is it?

It is not the Christian thing to do for governments to force their citizens to perform any kind of charity against their will. God loves a cheerful giver, not a coerced giver, but the whole Marxist PC game is coercing people against their will. We call this democracy Faith. Society has progressed a little beyond individuals taking in the passing traveller - we live in societies measured in millions not tens. We devolve our Christian responsibilities to elected Christian governments to do these things on our behalf.
Now you would be doing the Christian thing if you invited a refugee family into your home and put yourself out for them. You let us know when you've done your Christian duty now. Can I remind you that I'm the atheist and you're the supposed Christian, yet it's you that would turn those in need away and admonish your own 100% Christian government to refuse help. Go figure as you guys say.Je suis Charlie. Je suis Ahmed. Je suis Juif. Je suis Parisien. To put the innocent citizens of a nation in danger by inviting in tens to hundreds of thousands of hostile foreigners, a quarter of whom think it's a good thing to blow up the citizens of said nation, you bet it's against my will.

The road to Hell is paved with good intentions. Why is it that "Oops!" is an excuse when their civilians get killed? When there is no collateral damage, you can have the high ground.

I'm not responsible for somebody else's motives. As far as I'm concerned, killing people is killing people and it's hard to distinguish one killer from another. If you're going to bomb the bombers, you might as well have capital punishment too. Then we're no better than they are.
Do you also believe that the motives for both actions are equivalent?

A suicide bomber seeks to kill and main as many innocents as possible.
If you can't tell the difference perhaps you should seek to understand why.Religious belief does not constitute scientific evidence, nor does it convey scientific knowledge. There's also a moral distinction between capital punishment and the police shooting someone who's on a shooting spree.

Dead is dead. If you see a difference between one corpse and another, perhaps you should seek to explain why.

That's not what we're talking about here. We're talking about police going into the ghetto to shoot accused criminals without a trial. There's also a moral distinction between capital punishment and the police shooting someone who's on a shooting spree. Edited by ringo, : No reason given.

If you're going to bomb the bombers, you might as well have capital punishment too. Then we're no better than they are. In international law, it's illegal to kill without trial for retributive reasons (punishment), the legal justification for the killing of the John character was defence. Je suis Charlie. Je suis Ahmed. Je suis Juif. Je suis Parisien. That's not what we're talking about here. We're talking about police going into the ghetto to shoot accused criminals without a trial. I think my metaphor works better. As Tangle points out, this isn't retributive, it's not like ISIS has stopped killing people and now we're dealing out rough justice. They're still going about killing people, it's a crime in progress, one long killing spree.
