admoose, don't worry. Ken's sort of behaviour is accepted on creationist boards. They thereby allow their side to look bad, why should you be worried about providing the same opportunity for Ken and his ilk to look bad on this board? And Ken doesn't seem to be shutting out any activity from other (more moderate?) creationists; they are just very thin on the ground on a board which they cannot just preach and run.
I think the best strategy is to not reward Ken's childish attention-seeking behaviour by ignoring his disingenuous posts.

I suppose we are wasting a lot of bandwidth just to feed his bloated ego. But, really, even if we do ignore him for a while, who is going to have to will power to ignore his taunts that we won't debate him because of his superior intellect?

I bet they aren't PhD math students being taunted by sub-literate morons.

People, the more I interact with Ken the more likely I think it is that he has some brain damage.
I'm statring to think about that old taunt, which in this case might actually be true:
"I wouldn't want to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person!"

just ill-mannered
I doubt that he's brain damaged. I suspect that he has no wish to actually engage in any discussion or debate. He thinks he is providing a service to the idol he worships by linking to all those websites, and then condemning us because we are so closed-minded that we aren't convinced by them.
I honestly suspect that he himself doesn't understand the issues involved. Whenever any of us says anything, it just goes right over his head. He's not stupid (his spelling and grammar are better than most of his ilk), he is just too ill-mannered to admit that he doesn't know what he's talking about, and too ignorant (probably willfully) to realize that he is badly losing the "debate".

I am just crushed that Ken's banana thread got closed so early. That little item is so very wunnerful as a target for satire.....
Like, who designed the artichoke?
And did no one tell the author that commercial bananas are a sterile triploid - a human invention?

Which has also been closed. Ken is seriously attempting to get suspended. He can't defend the threads he already has going, he has no business opening new ones. In fact, he has been told before to restrict his posting to threads he already has opened in the FFA.
Ken has opened 14 threads in a month and a half. He has four in the FFA alone. I think Ken's opponents should state their simple questions to Ken and then ignore him until he answers. No hounding, but no feeding the attention seeking either.
Ken is finding it difficult to participate in a manner condusive to good debate, and I feel that if we all get together and give Ken room to think about his answers to a FEW, SIMPLE questions, he might be able to get his thoughts together.
I don't want to turn this entire forum over to issues dealing with Ken. Can we all get over him?

Be fair to Ken, guys. Honestly, you're like the Taliban or something. I'm sure Ken just got a little over eager when he first started posting and couldn't keep up with all the threads he's begun. I don't think he'll start up another thread for a long, long, time, and may God strike me down if I'm wrong.
regards,
Esteban "R.I.P." Hambre

AdminAsgara's complaints would be more credible if she hadn't closed down a non-debate string in the link room. I see evolutionists have links to specific issues but creationist are not afforded the same opportunity.
Sincerely,
Ken

Re: just ill-mannered
Oh, just because his grammar and spelling is good doesn't indicate anything WRT brain damage. Brain damage doesn't have to affect these things, or intelligence, for that matter.
Damage to the brain can be very specific, affecting, say, the attention span, or logical abilities of a person only. A person can become obsessive, or emotionally volatile after brain damage, as well.
The fact that he seemed to have a very hard time learning which reply button to use and was often kind of incoherent leads me to suspect some kind of damage.
We'll never really know, of course, so this is all speculation.

Re: just ill-mannered
Sorry, Shrafinator. I didn't realize that you were being serious.
There seems to be a lot people that are ill-mannered in the same way as kendemyer. If this is brain damage, it seems that this sort is a relatively common occurrence.
I do agree that he evidently has some sort of emotional problems. Not willing to even try to get along, going out of his way to make problems, provoking reaction against himself. Sadly, that sort of thing seems to be common enough, too.
